I am currently caught in a tedious process of revamping my wardrobe, and that means starting all the way from the basics. I have decided to refrain from rambling too much about my obsession with the bare essentials I am coveting. For the good of you readers, I have decided to introduce to you my new guest blogger who will help me with my fashion posts.

How would you describe your style?
Cliche but I don't have a specific style. I have a penchant for indie/unknown labels though. Age doesn't restrict my experiment with different styles and color choices. I am obsessed with silent/classic film stars and I like their style the most.

What about your favorite designers?
.....too many. you will find out anyway soon.
& of course the late Alexander McQueen (he seems like a real great guy too!)

Which city in your opinion has the best fashion aesthetic?
This is something I have to agree with the cotton rabbit. Paris. Subtle, effortless & chic. They are very cultured so naturally, they bring life to the clothes they wear.

Any trends that you hate?
I live in Singapore, so you guys will fall asleep if I list them all.

Where do you get your fashion inspirations?
Luella(sigh, why has it ceased trading ), Filippa K, A.P.C, Rachel Comey, Peter Jensen, Proenza Schouler, and Refinery29 for a quick fix of inspiration.

Who are your favorite writers?
Very raw here & need to explore more, but mainly short story writers Chekhov, Katherine Anne Porter, Eudora Welty, Alice Munro, Raymond Carver, Flannery O'Connor, & others like Emily Dickinson, Fernando Pessoa & Pablo Neruda.
I love writers generally especially those who committed suicide, gays, depressed, & Carson McCullers too, who got sacked for all the jobs she worked before she became a writer.

Your music of choice?
Tough,...perhaps Folk and singer-songwriter.
If you're talking about music from the 21st century, the Canadians are the best, hands down.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
Indecisiveness?

What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Not really, I'm pretty self-centered so no one really ever gets to my nerves. Perhaps people who are judgmental?

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
Thriftiness. Patience. Optimism.

What is your motto?
None. Just soak in the moment and dream at night.

Which talent would you most like to have?
Anything to do with performing. Playing all kinds of musical instruments and song-writing.

And lastly, where would you most like to live?
No ideal place but only ideal people to admire.

What are you wearing right now?
Worn out pyjamas and I need to sleep now!
